I noticed this Hard Drive ,Seagate Constellation CS 3TB, on sale today and wondered if it would be suitable for my Ubuntu Desktop that holds all my music (as well as other data about 1 TB total). It is rated at Enterprise level with I believe 800,000 MTF and uses low power. it seems ideal for a more secure storage media instead of my aging WD Green. Anyone have any experience with this type of drive and does anyone know if it would be suitable for a desktop?
