On one level, and certainly in the initial stages, this is a community DIY project. Buy a Wandboard, remove the CPU daughter card, buy John's carrier board, fit CPU card to that, buy an SDCARD, download an image, blat the image to the card..... None of which helps dispel the GEEK image, of course. I personally, would like to see some sort of distribution arrangement, (and at the moment I have no idea how this would work and by whom), where it is possible to source all the components from as few places as possible, (ideally one), and it is possible to purchase a pre-installed SDCARD along with the project specific carrier board and case. With regard to the OS, updates, hosting of the software repo, development resources, etc. etc. there have already been background discussions with potential sponsors, which if this is to remain a not-for-profit endeavour, would hopefully provide the resources to bring this all together under a "Community Squeeze" banner and would help facilitate an easier transition post Logitech, were they to say, pull the plug on this forum with little notice. (Not that I am suggesting they have any intention of doing so.
