Hi all I have four players in a sync group so that the same music plays in all rooms.
Actually I have three rooms, and two of the players are sync'd: one Squeezebox v3 which I use as a pretty room controller and another Duet which actually plays the music. I simply use the SB3 plugged into the mains and nothing else - for IR remote control of the group. This works beautifully. Previously I was able to sync volume *only* between the two room players but not sync volume with the other two rooms, as I want to control volume separately. For some reason whatever I try, this arrangement no longer works. Maybe it's because I am setting up the sync in ipeng, but I have tried it on the web interface as well and strange things happen. e.g. right now I turn up bathroom player and it turns up all players. Then I turn down any other player but it leaves bathroom player at the same volume. Strange! Can anyone shed some light on how to set up volume sync groups separately to playing sync groups?
