Just unplugged my Squeezeboxes & will be putting them on eBay at the end of the month, been listening to music without them for a month and, to be frank, it's been liberating.
I've gone down a mixed route - Apple Airplay/Bluetooth/Cambridge Minx/Chemical Minirig Speaker (a wonderful rugged little device)...there are some great apps out there for syncing (Airfoil) and queue playing. So thanks to everyone on this forum for support, fixes and info - I know I was a pain from time to time, mainly due to frustration with being reliant on the time priorities of a developer. With my current setup I'm not reliant in a similar way, I use Apple Cloud but still have all the music on HD, backed up too. Of course there will be bugs but I have alternatives now.
