They do have support for Sonos and UPnP renderers so it's probably more than just a few "IR codes", for UPnP you need to use a pretty complicated discovery and SOAP protocol so they clearly have these capabilities. The problem will rather be how you unify UIs. Beyond simple buttons that rarely ever makes sense because the use cases are so different. What would make more sense, IMHO, is something like you can do with iRule which is to provide basic control and then be able to remotely call another App. After all, both iPeng and SqueezePad support that :) --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 8, the Universal App for iOS 7 and iOS 8* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102336 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
