Any spare iThingies or Android devices? With external speakers they make for pretty good players and one tends to have a few old ones around these days. The old IPeng can still be installed on devices with iOS 4.1.2 and newer and I believe SqueezePlayer on Android still supports some 2.x versions of Android.
