be an interesting experiment :) Great to know #4 is do-able, I'm still running Jriver on my music server but introducing a Transporter into the mix to see who the Daddy is.
If the transporter sounds better than the Server/Dac I use just now...I'll use Jriver UI to play music to the transporter.
