The original sample rate ofcourse CD's are 16/44.1 just keep it that way
.

If you rip something else like a music dvd or dvda , use the native
sample rate of that source for example 24/96.

And backup the originals !

If you need other sample rates or mp3 copies for portable use make
copies instead
