Digital Cordless (DECT) phones available in the UK use a dedicated frequency of 1900MHz therefore don't interfere with 802.11b/g wireless networking that uses 2.4GHz.
The 2.4GHZ band is unlicensed and therefore by definition any device can use this frequency so I suppose you could get a phone using 2.4GHz that has been imported from the US but I can't say I've ever seen them. -- mikerob ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mikerob's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=835 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18065 _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
