I still think regarding the workload the torrert based solutions is your best bet ;) regardles of what you think about it
You get full quality , re-encoding something that originally was some low rate AAC is not ideal . You get full size wav or flac with 128kbps AAC quality and re-encoding to a lossy encoding agian should be avoided at all costs .
