Oh yes I get it. I really do, but iTunes..... I guess I should explain the issue. The files in question are 24bit files with sample rates above 96kHz. Of which I have about a thousand in my library. The problem isn't so much iTunes itself but syncing to my iPhone. Files with a sample rate 96khz or below sync and play on the iPhone. Those above, do not... unless they have the m4v extension. They sync and play fine. As I said, iTunes....Now I'm not really that fussed about super hires music on my phone, but I don't want to maintain multiple libraries for different purposes. I've been there and it's a pain in the but. So that's how we get to where we are now. I'm seriously thinking about the simlink solution mentioned above. Just need to think about how that might affect a few other things. Thanks everyone for your suggestions so far. Much appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pssturges's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66790 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109373
