My current 'macOS squeezeplay build' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?96328-ANNOUNCE-SqueezePlay-for-Mac-OS) support > 48KHz by default whereas the 'Squeezeplay for Windows' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?96573-SqueezePlay-for-Windows-with-ASIO-DirectSound-WASAPI-and-WDMKS-device-support) still requires you to set some environment variables. See the links to their forum threads for more details. The versions listed in these threads are a bit old but you can find the latest builds by following the builds link in my signature below.
