"Not connected" means not connected -to mysqueezebox.com- which is normal for a player that is connected to a local instance of LMS. (A player can be connected to mysqueezebox.com *or* to a local LMS, but not to both at the same time. If you run a local server, you need not be concerned with mysqueezebox.com.) The place you -should- be looking is in LMS "Settings" on the "Information" tab where just below the "Media Scan Details" section it will list "Player Information" for all devices connected to your local LMS. Currently, you have none.
As asked above: your RPi is -wired- to your router, right? You can't setup an RPi over wi-fi (unless you know more about what you are doing). Have you tried a different ethernet cable? A different port on your router? If you do this, reboot your RPi and still a problem, then you have a defective RPi. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Apesbrain's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=738 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114796 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
