Forget about mysqueezebox.com for the moment.  "Not connected" means not
connected -to mysqueezebox.com- which is normal for a player that is
connected to a local instance of LMS.  (A player can be connected to

If you run a local server, you need not be concerned with
mysqueezebox.com.)  The place you -should- be looking is in LMS
"Settings" on the "Information" tab where just below the "Media Scan
Details" section it will list "Player Information" for all devices
connected to your local LMS.  Currently, you have none.

As asked above: your RPi is -wired- to your router, right?  You can't
setup an RPi over wi-fi (unless you know more about what you are doing).
Have you tried a different ethernet cable?  A different port on your
router?  If you do this, reboot your RPi and still a problem, then you
have a defective RPi.
