The wlanpoke script (code?) runs on the SB Radio so I don't understand your comment about it not working for Mac users?
I have suggested making a plug-in that would install wlanpoke similar to the community firmware. If I had the skills, I would attempt it; provided POMDev who developed wlanpoke was okay with the idea. This problem will grow as more people upgrade their routers.
