Yes. Low number of seconds. People often post about using LMS to do multi-room audio from TV. It just can't be done without unacceptable latency.
I have a Pi that takes the audio from my turntable in Living Room and sends it via Liquidsoap to an instance of Icecast2 which LMS (on another Pi) tunes in to. It has about 5 seconds latency but as ALL audio is listened to via LMS it is fine. If I had said turntable also plugged in to an amp with speakers - like your Lounge DJ setup - then the audio in my Living Room would be 5 seconds ahead of that played via LMS.
