I too must defend the Duets. I run two Duet receivers on wifi and they've been rock solid. I did have to replace a power supply for one Duet receiver and a wifi card in the other one. For me the key was a wifi router with good radios like ASUS has. One caution on the Squeezebox radios is they have issues with wifi 6 routers but the Duet receivers work just fine on wifi 6 routers, at least the RT-AX86U which has turned out to be the most reliable router I've ever owned.
