I finally got the scanner to complete a scan.
I did run SFC on my LMS computer and it found a few errors which were fixed. I also performed further file integrity scans on a few music folders and removed a few hundred damaged files. I have since run several "new or changed" rescans without any errors in the log. So, LMS is my friend again, at least for now. Until it's not, I guess. I'm tempted to run a complete rescan just to see if I can. *LMS is the meaning of life.* At least on this forum. Happy New Year.
