I remember a discussion of this (and also of another of Michael's plugins, probably AlbumReview) in which I helped someone install the plugin.
You might try going to the Plugins forum, and resetting to show more than just the past month, and you should be able to find it.
Until you have done this, try downloading Michael's MHCPAN modules. He says they are for Windows, but my recollection is that they work. And put the modules he specifically mentions into the right place in SlimServer. That is, control-click to "Show package contents", and inside the Contents, is the folder server>CPAN>HTML where the (two, I think) Perl modules should live.
