Fair enough on Genre-- I'll leave it in there. I think the Home page is fairly clean already, so I don't have a burning need to delete things if people are using them.
the plan is-- relegate statistics link to the footer, leaving a 4x2 table of icons. I'm going to leave Search in there for now, even though it's redundant with the search icon on the top nav bar. Thanks go to Dean @ Slimdevices for throwing this in the trunk right away so I can commit changes directly to the Slimserver codebase.
