I did have a problem with the touchpanel calibration being a bit off. I think this is due to the driver itself, it was a quick and dirty hack of the wacom driver. Most professional drivers have a calibration tool to fix this.
It has variables in it to tweak the calibration, but you have to do that at compile time. On mine to press a given menu one's finger needs to be above and slightly to the right. I solved the problem the easy way, bigger buttons (see my woodgrain softsqueeze skin). This is what I wanted for my application anyhow, so it worked out fine. I had one unit that was way off, and the pointer kept jumping to one of the corners, they replaced that unit. > The EarthLCD company does not seem to be very cooperative (several mall > sent without answers). > Call them instead of email'ing they are quicker to respond on the phone. I found their support hit or miss depending on which tech you got. -Chris > > -- > lioelec > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > lioelec's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2454 > View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=16775 > > _______________________________________________ > Discuss mailing list > Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com > http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss > _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
