You know you can integrate SlimServer with iTunes? It's not quite as immediate as with Roku, as you'll need to rescan the iTunes library after creating a new playlist to make it available in iTunes. If you have a lot of existing playlists though, they'll be available all the time. Alternatively if you're a Windows user, have a look at Moose which is a windows GUI which I believe does what you want.
