There is a remote access feature of the API, but it isn't very practical. For any practical use of most features, you would want them on the same computer. If MMM detects a slimserver install, you can right click the play button and choose from a list of slimserver players. REcent versions have only worked for sending to the first player in the list, but I believe this is fixed with the released 1.5.
