Again, if you want to run a successful mass market consumer products
business, that might have an element of truth in it but you can run a
highly profitable business catering to tech-savvy audiophiles without
giving a second thought to such concerns. It all depends on the
business model you choose to adopt. 

There's a very common misconception that the only way to be successful
in business is to cater for the mass market. In some sectors, that
would be the worst way to go and would be akin to committing commercial
suicide.
