You can have the best of both worlds. I only use FLAC but I believe MP3 can do the same. In FLAC there is a tag for 'Artistsort' as well as 'Artist'. So if you set: Artist = Russell Watson and Aristsort = Watson, Russell SlimServer will display this under the 'W's but as first/last name. Hope that helps.
