Getting power out to your pond area, safely, is a non-trivial problem, of course... any cable needs to be safely buried and protected by its own RCD.
As a completely different approach - good for only one person, sadly - I use standard wireless headphones when wandering around the house and garden. With a wireless PDA in my pocket to act as the remote, I can play music all day anywhere I like...
