Sorry for the frustrations! Can you please try deleting EVERYTHING in C:\program files\slim server. After ensuring that is all removed, please download the latest nightly build of slim server 6.2.2 from:
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest/6.2.2/ Please make sure your music folder does NOT contain any .pls or .lnk files, I'd suggest searching with the windows search utility for *.pls, *.lnk within the directory where you are referencing slim server for your music. Now install slim server, please point it to your music library and click rescan. This next step is important, just walk away! Once you hit rescan, don't touch the computer. Give it an hour, and try it out again.
