I run SlimServer 6.1.1 and BeyondTV 4.2 on my HTPC. The HTPC is up 24/7. I have a wired SB and a wireless SB2.
With absolutely no understanding of why, I rolled back from SlimServer 6.2.1 to 6.1.1 because it didn't appear to be working properly alongside BeyondTV. This was pure empiricism on my part - I installed 6.2.1, I started having trouble, I rolled back and trouble stopped. My family is pretty happy with 6.1.1, so I'm tempted to leave well enough alone. My wife, OTOH, would be interested in checking out Pandora. Anybody here have a smoothly-functioning SS/BTV combo? Anything about 6.2.1 that would have caused the ginormous CPU spikes that I was seeing? (The spikes seem to have been the problem, and went away after rollback.) Sorry for the obscurity of the question.
