There are some stations on Live365 that stream at 96 Kbps, but most are at 64 Kbps or less, all the way down to 8 Kbps (what a treat).
I think the real advantage of Live365 is that it provides a better range of music programming than any other online service (at least that I've found). Yes, the sound quality could be better on many of the streams but that is a secondary consideration for me.
