I'm using version 6.2.2 and I'm having a problem when I rescan my library. My ID3 tags aren't being read correctly. They are ID3 v1 tags, and they display correctly with Windows Explorer and Winamp.
Here's what happens. Here is what the tag says: Artist: Yes Album: Keystudio Title: Footprints Track: 1 Genre: Progressive Rock Year: 1996 Here is how it displays in SlimServer and on the Squeezebox Artist: MP3 Album: Yes Title: Keystudio Track: 16 Genre: No Genre The folder the file is stored in is called D:\MP3\Yes\16 - Keystudio. So I see what I think is going on, Slimserver must not be able to read the tag for some reason and is taking it from the filename/path somehow. This is very frustrating. I've tried deleting the tags and re-adding them, and I've tried rescanning the library (looking for new and changed, and doing full rescans), and it doesn't help. Its not doing it with all files, and I think its only affecting files I've touched with MP3Gain, which updates Replay Gain information. The only way I can fix the problem is to re-rip and re-encode the file, which is a real pain in the but. Any suggestions? EDIT: My server version is SlimServer Version: 6.2.2 - 7135 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252. This started happening with 6.2.2. I don't remember what version was installed prior to this. -- Relayer35 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Relayer35's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5255 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24107 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
