All you're really looking for is the old "really long audio cable". 
There are many devices available to wirelessly transmit audio. 
Available solutions include both simple analog rf broadcast devices as
well as proprietary digital rf devices, and even some that take
advantage of 802.11 protocols. Here are a couple of examples:

The Squeezebox (and even the Roku and most other networked audio
players) are much different beasts.  If you would consider not being
wedded to winamp then you will find that the Squeezebox is FAR more
capable than any "really long audio cable"-type device.
