I'm having exactly then same problem...installed 6.2.2 and slimserver no longer works (thank god for squeezenetwork).
I'm running under xp home sp2. Have tried scrubbing slimserver from drives, registry and nothing works. Will try reinstalling 5.3.1 cos that's the previous download I had and see if that helps....but I'm not best pleased. Also....anyone figure out why live364 urls don't work anymore ?
