I now only get "your player cannot be found" in the www interface ...the
whole setup has been working perfectly for months, until the dreaded
upgrade !! ARHHHHHHHHH ..

Ok, let's try a factory reset: unplug your SB3 (wireless?), press and hold ADD on the remote while plugging the device in again. You'll have to reconfigure the box. Does this help?

If not: did it ever connect after the update?
