First, Greetings to all! Second, my problem I have a Neuston MC-500 running Oxyl software www.oxyl.de which acts as media server, streaming movies, music photos etc, via the TV. Works really well but here is my problem....
When listening to music I want to be able to contol it via the Slimdevices software...the oxyl software supports Shoutcast stream, so I created I a new station http://myip:9000/stream.mp3 it all appears to work, ie, the slim software sees the player and allows me to select it and start streaming music, but nothing comes out the other end!! Apparently this can be done, and several people have done so, grateful for any thoughts or suggestions!
