Thank you for your help. It's all now working. I'll know if it was worth
it tomorrow morning when my wife can finally listen to a local radio
station.
Perhaps this will persuade her for the need for another couple of
Sqeezeboxes!

The easiest way to get WMA is to install AlienBBC.
Although it's main purpose is support of RealAudio, it also sets up WMA
on Linux using Mplayer.
