Stays running for a few minutes and then I get this in the Win2000 SP4 event log:
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Perl interpreter failed. When I installed I went through a microcode upgrage to the SB3. Other bits are that I am on a dial up network using a DLINK wireless router that can dial-up. So the SB3 is wired to the router but I am running the SlimServer on a wireless laptop (which also holds the music collection) and I am running the UI on the same wireless laptop. I have repeatedly deleted prefs and the cache and restarted the server, but same behavior with server quitting. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the server. Does the software need to have an active internet connection in order to continually operate? Is there anything else I can try?
