I gather 6.5 is better - I haven't had a chance to download it yet. So
maybe I'd better wait and see. Maybe this weekend if time permits.

You really should -- and soon! It's been in development for a long time and is a bigger leap forward than the 0.19 bump in decimal version number would indicate, in my opinion.
