I have seen a similar thing, but for me it only happens in the specific case of adding certain internet radio stations to the "now playing" playlist. The station doesn't show on the "now playing" list until the next regular refresh about 30 seconds later, but then the refresh is garbled with HTML code. Doimg a manual refresh fixes this, but sometimes it takes more than one manual refresh to do so. I reported this and it's bug 4110. That defect report also contains a screen shot of the HTML code that appears.
