A few possibilities... First, upgrading to 6.5.0 had a few issues as not all of the old version was cleared out. The safe way to do this is a complete deletion of the old slimserver directory (or rename, more safely) before installing 6.5.
Second, I know you said you've cleared browser cache, but do it again just to be sure.
