find out what the IP address of your slimserver is. If you were accessing the web UI from your slimserver PC with this: http://localhost:9000 replace the word 'localhost' with the ip address. for example, if your slimserver PC's IP address were 192.168.1.2, the URL for the web GUI would be: http://192.168.1.2:9000 anything with a web browser (desktop PC, laptop, tablet, nokia 770/800, pepperPad, PDA, iPhone, etc.) that has network connectivity to the slimserver PC can access the web UI. Some of those devices have crappier web browsers than others, so your mileage may vary, but that's another story. cheers, #!/ben -- bklaas "the Nokia770 skin guy" http://www.last.fm/user/bklaas/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bklaas's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30964 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
