I have confirmed with Slim Devices support that some people who have upgraded to 6.5.1 are unable to play certain file types: in my case, WMA Lossless. MP3 files and internet radio work fine for me. WMA Lossless worked fine for me with 6.5.0.
The syndrome (for me) is that the SB3 correctly identifies the song that should be playing and displays a progress bar showing the length remaining (which is the length of the song), but there is no progress and no music. I mailed Logitech a track which played fine on their system, so this is not a DRM issue. For what it's worth, I'm on Windows XP and ripped my music using EAC and the Microsoft WMA9 encoder. They're working on it. Meanwhile I uninstalled 6.5.1, deleted the SlimServer folder under Program Files (for a clean install) and reinstalled 6.5.0. I'm back in business. -- RobertH ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RobertH's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5765 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31826 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
