In a different thread someone suggested squeezenetwork is running firmware 76, while slimserver 6.5.1 is probably using formware 72.
if the above is true, you might be experiencing an upgrade and downgrade of firmware problem. In particular, downgrading the firmware is always a little testy.. Upgrading to slimserver 6.5.2 (firmware 76) should level things out.
