I have been playing around with setting up a remote connection to my SlimServer and anxious about leaving ports 9000 and 3483 open to the internet. Having access to my music anywhere I travel is pretty appealing, but not at the expense of opening my LAN to security problems.
Can anyone provide any thoughts about keeping these ports open to the internet?
