Also on a budget, I installed 812C Mitec 8" Speakers from Smarthome in the bedroom about 6' apart and 3' from the side walls and 5' from the headboard wall. (I have waterproof 6.5" speakers over the showers and they don't sound as good but are adequate and supply both stereo channels.) I am happy. I replaced my large'ish AE EVO floor standing bedroom speakers and think it was an OK trade. Further though, I used the Leviton speaker connections to get the wiring out of the ceiling, down the wall to someplace convenient where I can wire in the amp(s). (Also Cat 5 for the squeezebox.) I subsequently mounted Chopin Leviton volume controls next to the bed (Cat5!). If you do a bit of research, you can find them for nearly half listed price. That gives me a squeezebox that I can use in the bedroom and 2 bathrooms. (As opposed to the other 6 squeezeboxes in the rest of the house.) Dennis
