Well, I found a tip that suggested turning off all server password security (not ideal) but it works just fine now using an n800 and media streamer as the app. the sound quality is fantastic actually as a subjective take. wonder what type of DAC nokia included in this thing. thanks to ben for the excellent work on the skin as well, it works perfectly.
