A song just restarted and, upon checking, noticed that the CPU usage had spiked at the same time. It prompted me to do a little experimentation and I noticed that each time a new song started the CPU usage spiked to 70%-90%. Is that normal and why would I have be suddenly experiencing this problem after two years. I did recently pick up virus but with the help of my local cable service rooted it out and fresh scans show my computer is clean. This is really starting to piss me off.
