Stood in line, the last 8 gb went to the guy in front of me. Ordered it from att direct, got it 6 days later. Have had it for 2 weeks now. I know, it has shortcomings, some things left off, as were mentioned in an earler post, but what it DOES do is so brilliantly and beautifully implemented, that I have missed none of the things it lacks. I haven't even thought of going back to my treo 650.
Anyway, how does it work as a slimserver remote? FANTASTIC! I use it on the default skin. It is quick to load, easy to mag up the area you want to see with the finger gesture. The screen on this phone is so detailed and bright and the phone renders so very quickly. Here is what I want to do. I am going to try to do one of these "U tube" videos of the iphone in action as a slimserver remote and I will come back and post a link here.
