I have a library that I created completely with iTunes (ripping). When I have slimserver scan that music folder, the number of songs it comes up with are different than what iTunes reports - by 18. Anyone know what causes this? I'm inclined to think the iTunes number is correct, as I'm also having troubles (which I'm working on with support) using the "use iTunes" function of the slimserver.
I even created a new iTunes library and imported all the music from that folder into it - and after doing that both iTunes and slimserver (after scanning that same folder) reported a different number (by about 20 songs).
