Since those distance days the slimp3 died (fried by the power supply) and was replaced by SD with another SB1. They synced up fairly well and running wired worked ok.
These days I still have the two SB1s relegated to lesser rooms and three SB2s. Two of the SB2s I regularly run synced over wired connection.
