Recently I started noticing I couldn't playback any of my .flac nor .ape files with my Squeezebox and I really couldn't figure out what was wrong. The files start out the first few seconds fine but then starts stuttering with a buffer at 0%. I realized the .mp3's played properly so I ran the network test plugin and noticed that 320kbps gives me 100% stable, but anything above that and it drops, 500 gives 70%, 1000 33%, 1500 20% and so forth. My server is connected to the network by wire but the squeezebox is wireless with a signal strength of 75%. I've had the box for almost half a year now and never had any problems 'til the last week or two. I haven't really changed anything on my server either, at least not what I can recall. I'm using Win XP on a fairly strong pc, tried slimserver 6.5.2 as well as the new 6.5.4.
I've looked through the forums and googled like a madman, I don't know where else to turn.
