That's right. The reason the Receiver needs an over-the-network setup mechanism is because it does not have a display. There is no nefarious "lock in" strategy here - we just made it work with the Controller first, because that is a necessity. It's also a simple deterministic environment (we make an ad-hoc connection between the two) which makes it very easy.
